I love terrariums ~The idea of a little fairy land in a glass enclosure fulfills my need for whimsy.
Materials needed:
Glass jar ~ I used an old lemonade jug the kind with the metal spout and removable glass lid 3.99 goodwill
potting soil ~
charcoal ~ the kind for plants sold at most nurseries.
small tropical plant~
moss~ found in my yard
small pebbles~drainage
a touch of whimsy~ Grasshopper ~ metal
CAKE TERRARIUM ~ with glass cake stand!
my next terrarium is going to be a moss cake to add some greenery in my kitchen.......... I purchased a glass cake stand the kind with the huge lid! currently I am working out the details of the moss cake. I think it will be a perfect compliment to my country kitchen and not as boring as typical houseplant*yawn!
