Zinc Kitchen Countertops-Funhouse idea #1

I have a very old kitchen and I desperately needed new counter tops. Looking at the old
Grey chipped*stained*outdated Formica counter tops was too much for me to swallow
SO...............I surfed the net for something that reflected the Country vibe I was
searching. Granite was too formal , Formica was not reflective of the rustic look so............................................ZINC was the answer!

Zinc is a greyish metal that over time patina's to a dark grey tone. Years ago in France it was used in Bakeries as pastry table tops. The best thing about Zinc is
the perfect rustic finish.

Sheets are available over the Internet at very reasonable prices, then the best thing to do is call a Sheet metal shop and have the fabricator mold them into your desired shape.

My total cost ~ 375.00
